Normally, players start to get pulled out of the lineup around Thursday or so before a Monday deadline. Some teams wait until the weekend, the final game before the deadline.
If I’m the Canadiens I would pull Ben Chiarot out of the lineup as early as Tuesday to be safe. Especially given how he plays the game.
